Nobody can throw grenades in woodland. However, practice does make perfect - I have thrown a few good grenades recently. :)

we should open a new thread where people can tell fantastical storys of heroic feats involving the throwing of grenades.
i.e. a fiction thread
mmmm that has a nice ring to it, the fiction thread......yes i like the sound of that.

I'd love to see you bowl a grenade, Rhys.

Also, at the end of Wotan, I killed a load of our own commandoes with a 'bounce back' grenade. Well, it was pitch black... :slap:

I managed to chuck a grenade from inside one building into another's window at Eagle. Also, when I'd run out of grenades, Del gave me one, which I used immediately - an injured Ami was behind a couple of big tyres, and I saw another one nip behind in order to medic him, so I lobbed a grenade which landed right next to them and got 'em both!

Do you think it's safe enough to dive on one and smother it, saving your chums - and would I get EKI or a Silver Star for doing it..?

A scenario where I get to play what I always wanted to play... A Polish tanker. Yes!. Though I will have to disappoint my fellow allies, as I do not have an actual Cromwell in my proposed kit. Unless I was to make it out of cardboard, but that would be ineffective as armour.

We may hand landies that we will be using as armour... Maybe if we can get a polish tank crew together we could do a "hunt the black baron" side mission :o)

MG mounted on the roof, troops inside inpervious to BB hits on vehicle, only way you can disable the tank is by Panzershrek/Bazooka, mine or dropping a pyro within 5 metres of it...

vehicle is then out of the game until fixed by engineer or timeout

We used them at our Churchill's Revenge game. They work pretty well, although we didn't use them as tanks, just as regular vehicles so people weren't impervious to hits. I found this out when Che and Helga (I think) shot me directly in the ass cheeks. Ouch.

The can be disabled by a pyro dropped in front of it, then can be commandeered by the opposing force.

We should have a few at Bryansk too.
